"A future gift for my adopted children."
Submitted by Patsy.
I am not at this stage trying to contact my children's Birth Parents, and I have lots of background information on them. We adopted our children through social workers in Private Practice. I have had no response to my last fax to their offices.
What concerns me is, that in these times of people leaving Africa in droves, is that if and when either of my children's birth mothers wishes to communicate with the children they will not be able to find them.
My son was born with a birth defect, a bilateral cleft lip and palate and he was almost 2 months premature. His birth mother did not ever see him. I am sure almost 10 years down the line and probably with other children of her own, she must wonder how he is.
I am not familiar with your organisation ~ I just wanted to place on record for the benefit of the Helen, the birth mum, should she ever contact you, that he is the most wonderful boy, personality + and is safe and very happy. He's looking great tho' still a lot to do orthodontically, some bone grafting due next year. At the end of the day he will look fantastic.
Amy-Beth, two and a half years his junior is a perfect match to him, blond and beautiful. They are absolute soul mates. When the time comes, and if the children wish it, I will do everything in my power to help them find their birth parents.
