I'm on Both Sides

June, South Africa replies:
How very fortunate you are, Lisa, to know where your little one is and how she is getting on in life - even what she looks like.

How often have I satdown and conjured up images of my little girl I was forced to give up. On every birthday I have written her notes, which I am dreaming of giving to her if ever we could meet.

I am hoping, trusting and believing that through this site I will trace her, or she me. I might even be a grandmother and not even know it. I know that I did the right thing by having her adopted (I was only 14), but that does not stop me from loving and missing her, although God was good to me and gave me 3 wonderful sons. My family and friends all know about her - I am not ashamed, and they are all praying with me that she and I be reunited sometime.

Treasure your pictures of your little girl in the meantime, for when she's ready, you will be together again.

God Bless You
June - South Africa
