[Home Page] How do adoptees feel when they find out they're adopted? How do they react to seemingly innocent remarks from friends and families? What urges them to find bparents?

The stories linked to this page may help us all understand, and hopefully help you feel you're not alone with your hopes, fears, anger, and sorrow.

I only found out I was adopted 2 weeks before my 21st birthday, I am now turning 44 on Monday 2nd April, up until now I have felt very alone, your site has helped me to realise that there is light at the end of the tunnel, even if it is only knowing that there are others to share with.
Thank you
