I hope that all children that go this route would bear in mind that the birthparent could already be deceased and it is a costly and time-consuming process, the loss of an unknown parent is just as hard as a known one, and the people you might meet, might not be as accepting, or raised with the same values as you have.

I looked, found, cried, laughed, loved a little and lost because the one person I was really looking for died years before.

there was so many questions and really no satisfactory answers as I found my bfather had to his death not tried to find us, or even cared to meet us, and never talked about us, even to his new wife, whose children he adopted and raised after rejecting us.
