Forever Loved - my Granddaughter

I too am a grandmother that has lost a grandchild to adoption. The pain was so unbearable I thought I would surely go crazy, why I didn't only God knows.
My son suffers greatly, he has not been able to get his life together, he cries often. He did not want to give up the baby, he was talked into it. He missed two court appointments and was told that if he didn't sign the papers, he would lose all rights to visiting the baby SO he signed.
The people who adopted our baby said that we would always be the grandparents and that we could visit her anytime we wanted. But as soon as my son signed the papers, they changed their mind. Now we can't visit, send cards or call on the phone; like we were promised.
I suffer for both my son and my grandchild. I pray for her every night and I pray that God will soften their hearts and allow us to visit her or write to her once in a while.
